How long is my appointment?
We provide different appointment types that vary in length. On average most appointments run 1 hr - 1.5 hrs
What is your price range?
Our gowns range from $900 to $3000. Most gowns fall $1500-$2000 Each designer has a different price range. Bridesmaids run from $150-$300 on average , Suit rentals run about $225-$275 on average
Do I need an appointment to try on gowns?
Yes! Our shop is by appointment only for our private rooms. We provide a one-on-one bridal experience and are not always able to accommodate walk-ins but we will try to get you on the same day schedule if possible. If you do happen to just stop by we will do everything we can to make sure we take care of you.
How many people can I bring with me?
We believe that your fitting should be as intimate as possible but we also understand we want your most important people there. We want the focus to stay on you and what style YOU want for your wedding day. We can accommodate you and 4 other guest for a standard appointment. You can upgrade your appointment any anytime to accommodate your party.
Can I bring champagne with me?
We ask that you leave any outside alcohol at home but we have the ability to provide a champagne experience appointment starting at $50. Just choose the champagne experience appointment upon booking or it can be added once you are here as well.
What sizes do you carry?
We carry a wide range of sample sizes for every bride! We have sample sizes from a 6 to 28. Our average sample size is usually between 14 to 20. We do however have creative ways that allow you to see what each dress will look like in your size. Please note the gowns can be ordered in additional sizes.
Where can I park?
Fairhaven currently has metered parking, be aware the parking on Harris Ave though is pay machine on corner or pay by phone app. If you planning on staying more that a few min those meter people are sneaky and are on a random check schedule so we recommend using the app so you not will receive a parking ticket M-Sat. You might want to look behind the building and on adjacent streets where there is unlimited time parking spots, Also keep in mind only Sundays that parking times are not enforced.
Do you buy used wedding gowns?
We get all of our gowns directly from bridal designers. We do not buy back gowns nor do we sell used gowns.
Can I rent a gown from your shop?
Our gowns are available for purchase only. If you're looking for a gown on a budget, don't worry! We have lots of options for you.
Do you provide alterations?
We have a list of thorough and trusted seamstresses that we recommend. This allows you to find the best seamstress for location and price range!
Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final. Once a special order is confirmed with the designer, changes or returns are not able to be made. All previously marked down gowns are final sale.
How long do gowns take to order?
We recommend ordering your gown 9-12 months before your wedding date. That may seem like a long time out, but it typically takes about 6-9 months for your gown to arrive after you order it with standard delivery (each designer has a different lead time). Some gowns can be rushed at additional fees but not all of them. Alterations can take anywhere from 1-3 months. Always better to be safe!
When should I order my gown if I’m planning on losing weight?
We recommend buying the gown as soon as you know it’s the one. Gowns are made to be altered, so we always recommend ordering the size that fits best now and having it adjusted closer to the wedding date.
When should I order tuxes?
Due to restrictions with shipping and inventory we highly recommend wedding parties to book no later than 30-60 days prior to event to ensure all sizes can be accommodated. We can do last minute suits but it is subject to availability and shipping lead times .
What do I do for out of town bridesmaids or groomsman?
All we need is their measurements over the phone or by email and we can help then get ordered right through our store along with everyone else’s items. No need to worry.
